Multiplaza

Sunday, the girls and I made a rare visit to the mall. I like malls, it's fun to see the shops and grab a bite to eat, and the girls love touring the aisles at the toy store. I should remember though, that the mall is a very popular destination on a Sunday, especially in the rain.

I am reminded of why I don't like crowds as soon as we approach the food court. We edge our way through the maze of tables, and people, and finally find ourselves at what looks like the end of a line. We order, pay and receive the reward of a ticket in hand with a number that promises us food and drink. From this point, I have no idea what to do. Before us is a crowd that looks more like a single organism with arms reaching like tentacles toward the soda machine and waving little pieces of paper up in the air. There is no end in sight. I take a deep breath and push in for my own drink, gaurding my position cautiously. Anais is sitting on a hip, and Salome is in the corner of one eye. I cannot help but imagine if we were all greased up how the weak ones would be squeezed out and sent flying across the food court. Not me, I make it. Now for finding a table.
