While I don´t get as much as I´d like, art satisfys me like few other things can. There is nothing like having time to do nothing but draw, paint, tie things together or play with digital media. I find a thrill in watching a picture evolve, taking it through all of its awkward stages and finally feeling that it is finished, complete. Making art is a way that I keep myself even, and bit by bit, as my babies grow, I am taking more time to create. It is wonderful.
Starting May 7, I am opening up my home, the first Friday of each month, as a studio for others to come and create with me. It will be time to focus on nothing but that urge to interpret the world through paper and pencil, canvas and paint, whatever your whim.
