Last night this beautiful 2x4¨ bug landed on my husband. When I tried to get it off of him, it hissed and pinched. Once we contained it, it continued to hiss and act ugly. We watched it, quite impressed before sending it outside. It came right back in to our open to nature living space and hovered on a beam above me. I was up drawing late into the night and it never left. I started to think about the few, but real bugs in the tropics that leave you with terrible illnesses. What if it was some Jurrassic Chagas beetle? I climbed on a ladder and squashed it. I felt bad, but I am a mother after all. Beware unwelcome houseguests.
